Hi, Just completed my 6 years and now free from my TD. I Applied to re-mortgage with a small home loan added onto it, and chuffed to say was accepted with no problems. My name is still on the AIB register, but all the credit agencies have my name clear of any insolvencies, bankruptcies etc. which is great news. One credit agency jumped up 73 points within a month due to having this info removed from the records.
There is life after the 6 years, you just have to persist to get through the 6 years. Good luck to everyone who is currently in a TD, believe me, it seems a long time, but the 6 years looking back, flew by. And can i also say, as much as i thought i couldn't live without credit, we managed relatively easy. Anyway, thanks to all the advice from the forum advisors, as you can see, it was all extremely helpful to me and put me on the right track with excellent information along the road. Many thanks to everyone on the forum.
