Hey everyone, thought I'd let everyone know my story, will keep it short and sweet though 🙂
For the last few years debt has been the sole source of stress in my life, up until a couple of years ago I was self employed in a failing business which basically ended with me being in over 12k in debt. For the last 2 years I have been employed in a good job with a decent wage and have got myself back on track money wise and had paid a good part of it off, but I had a lot of trouble with collection agencies not accepting payment offers etc etc, when companies started trying to arrest my wages for amounts that would have meant I was unable to pay priority bills like my rent and things I decided enough was enough and started looking for solutions.
In doing this I stumbled across this forum and asked for advice, all of which was excellent, after reading reviews about David Tannock I got in contact with him and can honestly say I'm really glad I did. From start to finish the advice I got from david was superb, he ran through all my options with me over numerous phonecalls and also in person when we met, in the end I decided the best thing for me was to go bankrupt and essentially start again.
With David's help my sequestration was awarded at the beginning of this week, I know this would be most people's worst nightmare but for me now it is like a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders, I know within a few weeks the phone calls and letters from my creditors will stop, in less than a year now I will be discharged and officially debt free, with David's help I've also got a monthly payment which is affordable and doesn't leave me struggling to get by!!
So I would like to say thanks to the forum for being a great source of advice and info for people who find themselves in the same situation as me, and a massive thanks to David Tannock for all the help and advice and putting up with all my phonecalls and texts for the last month or two 🙂
To anyone on the forum who is looking for someone to help wth any kind of debt issues I can't recommend david enough!! Thanks again
The countdown to being debt free is on 🙂 and I never thought I would be able to say that!!

Congratulations to you on taking these steps. It sounds as though you've invested a lot of thought into the decisions that you've made and I'm glad that you feel so positive about them.

Thanks for taking the time to post about your situation and for the positive feedback.
Often when I'm discussing a client's options the mention of Bankruptcy can put people off but actually once you start to explain it and work through the pros and cons for many people it isn't actually that bad.
This time next year you will be officially discharged from your debts and debt free. I'm sure that's a good feeling.
Try to relax now, enjoy Christmas and New Year and look forward to a stress free 2015 not having to deal with the debts or collection agencies.
David is not currently posting in the Trust-Deed.co.uk forum
