Hi everyone, just completed 2nd assesment,at the start of the trust deed 2yrs ago my brother-in-law bought us a car, payback £100 per mth,for 2 1/2 yrs and Nov 2011 new boiler again £100 per mth,we have included it in our assessment, they have now requested the V5 and m.o.t cert, the car is in his name,so we cant sell it,as I changed my cars like my underwear.I not sure if he will want to give me the V5 etc, could this present problems with my TD,also they have requested our life insurance policies but I dont know why, appriciate your input

Fairly sure it's just a copy they require, I certainly wouldn't be handing them any original documents

Every end has a start !!

Hi johnd,

Regards life insurance (and depending on how the policies are written) its likely that any payout would go to the trust deed. This may be why your trustee wants to see the details.
