Hi everyone,
I’m currently in a Trust Deed and have recently been offered a role that requires Security Clearance (SC). I’m a bit worried about how my financial situation might affect the process.
Has anyone here gone through the SC clearance process while in a Trust Deed? If so, how did it impact your application, and were you still able to gain clearance?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone with first-hand experience or advice on what to expect.

Hi DCAM, i can't talk from the point of view of having had a Trust Deed, but I have had SC clearance before. My limited knowledge of this area is that its an issue for some roles and employers, and not for others. The crucial thing is to be honest as part of your SC assessment. So in direct answer, it will influence a decision, but it's not a definitive one way or another.
