Great news Wildchild. I think this is the outcome everyone waiting will experience.

Who was your former trustee?

Are you certain it is over Wildchild?

I am in a similar situation, but the thing niggling away at me is that one of my creditors knows I have a very large payout, and there is an avenue for them to try and get my ex trustee reappointed to recover any remaining funds.

Well would hope so as they emailed me saying payment is on its way as money belongs to me they. Have no interest in it can’t see them saying that if they won’t be doing it

I'm very glad your patience has been rewarded, Wildchild. Hopefully we'll hear similar outcomes for many more people very soon.

I e mailed my ex trustee yesterday with the points that candlewick suggested waiting to hear as feel by the time I paid their legal fees and outlays would be left with nothing. The whole thing is so unfair as some people are getting their money and some like me are but with money off .

He shouldn't be able to do that - what exactly is a reduction ?

A 'reduction' is to have something annulled.

In this case, we think it would apply to the final distribution, rather than the whole trust deed.
The argument would be that the final distribution had been made in error as the true extent of the estate was not known at the time.

In short, it means you would lose all your PPI
