Well I got home from work last night and right out the blue there was my form 5 discharge from CF!

Very pleased and happy. Trustee will remain in place for PPI,. Years and years and years before it was fashionable I always thought PPI was an expensive rip off so I never touched it. I have not to dispose of any assets or sell property whilst trustee remains in place but this does not apply to me anyway. In common with others in a similar position I'd prefer trustee was discharged but the biggie is me being discharged.

Thanks to all the forum contributors and experts. It's been a great outlet and source of information for what can feel like a really embarrassing situation.

My new hobby ? Cleaning up the credit file!

Thanks

Congratulations to you downandout - I'm glad to hear that you're so pleased and happy about it.

Sounds like you've got a fun new hobby as well!

As a side note for others whose cases moved from PJG to Creditfix - one of our team bumped into their new trustee at a conference yesterday. The message from him was just the same as was posted here some months ago by the previous trustee. Hope that provides some further reassurance if it's needed.

I got my Form 5 today! I too was passed onto Crediffix last year. Nearly there! Just awaiting PPI investigations being concluded. Creditfix have stated they cannot put a timescale on this.

Hi Debtnomore,

Well done on successfully completing your Trust Deed and receiving your discharge and Form 5.

It is hard to put a timescale on the PPI investigations as these can take time for Trustees to investigate due to the volume of these. The main thing for you is your Form 5 and you have this.

Enjoy the feeling of being debt free and the extra money!
