Insolvency Practitioner Complaints

You should initially inform your trustee if you have a complaint about their services.

If this complaint isn’t resolved to your satisfaction you can then escalate it to your trustee’s professional regulatory body. Complaints can be submitted via the Insolvency Practitioner Complaints Gateway.

Debt Advice & Debt Management Complaints

Debt advisers and debt management plan providers must be authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

If you have a complaint about an FCA regulated debt adviser or debt management plan provider you should initially notify the firm itself.

If this complaint isn’t resolved to your satisfaction you can then escalate it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
