Hi,

Just looking for some help. I got an update on my credit report, it was noted as a CCJ. when I looked into it further it said that my trust deed was satisfied on 6th of May, my final payment was the end of January. I haven’t had anything official through in writing. But was wondering if this update means that I am officially out of my trust deed and can move on with my life.

thanks

Bgm

Hi Bgm82.  If you have officially completed your Trust Deed then you should have received a Form 5 discharge certificate from your trustee.  The Register of Insolvencies will also have been updated to show the date of your discharge - maybe try searching for your name on that (it can be done via the Accountant in Bankruptcy's website). I wouldn't really trust that the information on your credit report is correct.

@kevin-mapstone Hi Kevin thanks for your reply. It showed on my ClearScore and when I signed into Equifax it had the start date of my trust deed, and then an end date and marked as satisfied. Also some of the accounts that were on the trust deed are now marked as ‘settled’ too.

how long does the form 5 usually take to come through?

Usually within a couple of months of when your payments end.  Some firms may e quicker and others slower though.
