I've just had my ppi company on the phone telling me that mr mond case has been refused from Supreme Court so don't know who's right

I confirm that the Supreme Court has granted permission in the case of Dooneen v Mond to progress to an appeal hearing before the Supreme Court. The solicitor acting for Mond is David Flint of Balfour Manson. He confirmed that permission to appeal had been granted. I have asked him to confirm to me the likely timescales for the progress of his appeal and as soon as I have his answer I shall let you know. As far as the substance of your email of 11 April is concerned, as leave to appeal has now been granted to the Supreme Court and therefore determination of the case in Dooneen v Mond is central to the determination of this case between my client and yourself at Perth Sheriff Court. I will update you when I hear further from Mr Flint at Balfour Manson. This is the latest e mail from my ex trustees solicitor.
