End of trust deed

I am finally at the end of my trust deed and awaiting my personal discharge which I have been told can take 2-4 weeks can people please tell me my next steps to start rebuilding etc. finally light at the end of the tunnel and excited to hopefully gain a mortgage after the 6 years

Probably the best thing to do is to check all of your three credit files (Experian, Clearscore/Equifax and Totally Money/Transunion). 

Check that your Trust Deed is showing as being entered into on the right date (which is the date you signed, not when it was protected).   After that, check that your default dates are no later than the same date as you signed your Trust Deed. Main reason for this is so that everything drops off your credit files at the same time and as early as possible (which is six years after you signed your Trust Deed). 

If any of the dates are later than they should be, get onto the creditors pronto to get them to amend.

Thanks for this! Odd there a template letter letter etc anywhere that I can send to creditors abound amending the dates?
