Hi. I am about 1 year into a protected trust deed and I have left my wife my wife and we want a divorce. Where do we stand. Theres around £60k equity (I had well over £80k debt so the property was discounted at ptd stage)
Can the ptd be overuled if ahe goes to court to sell the house and get her half of the equity?

Hi Veedub. If a sale of the house is forced by your wife as part of a divorce then your Trustee has to gather in your half share of the proceeds into your Trust Deed. Any agreement regarding equity is only effective if the house is not being sold, I'm afraid.
